Water, Nutrients, Radiation and CO2 Use Efficiency of Bulb Crops: A Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
World’s natural resource will be pressured by population increment that is to achieve high food production through intensive farming. Bulb crops are among largely produced which characterized a shallow root system and underground vertical shoots. They also cool season crops, their growth influenced water, nutrients, radiation carbon-dioxide. Factors determine water use efficiency tillage, stage of the crop, evapotranspiration, irrigation, soil types elevated co 2 . Nutrient bulbs factors like factors, fertilizer plant agronomic consideration, biological consideration climate factors. Nitrogen, phosphorus potassium major consumed nutrients bulbs. Radiation key determinant photosynthesis, photorespiration respiration. Indicators dry matter production, leaf area index specific area, ground cover, interception absorption, maintenance respiration partitioning. Another essential substrate for photosynthesis bulb main temperature light. So as different studies indicated best nutrient, them respective should considered optimized. In order to investigate the effect of urea and Azocompost on economic yield, nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) and radiation use efficiency (RUE) of wild majoram, a factorial experiment was conducted based on randomized complete block design with three replications at Yazd and Mashhad, Iran, during 2012-2013 growing season. Four urea levels and four Azocompost levels (to provide 0, 40, 80 and 120 k...

متن کاملchallenges and approaches for enhancing of water use efficiency in field crops in iran
crop’s water use efficiency (wue) is one of the major indices for the efficient use of water for crop production in agriculture. based on scientific literatures, the concept of wue has been defined in all crop management, farm/field, and water basin/irrigation network domains. plant in particular, plays an important role in the efficient use of water and enhancement of wue. plant resistance to ...
متن کاملdetermination and evaluation of water use efficiency of some major crops under farmers management in iran
the main objective of this research is to determine water use efficiency (wue) of some major crops under farmer's management in the different region of iran including kerman, hamedan, moghan, golestan and khuzestan provinces. the research also attempted to assess and identify the sources of inefficiencies in improving wue. based on methodology, wue was determined by measuring crop yield (k...
